Associated Groups are those groups which are more eclectic than Affiliated Groups but include WCF friends amongst their members. Usually at least one of the group members is a member of the WCF, but maybe other group members follow Buddhist traditions other than Chan or Zen. These groups are independent of the WCF, though based on our mutual interest in Chan Buddhism we maintain friendly and mutually supportive links.
